Straight Ticket Voting in Alabama
Please consider. In 2012 Alabama general election, Democrats voted straight ticket 59.64% and Republicans voted straight ticket only 40.36% of the time. Alabama is one in only 10 states that allow straight ticket voting. You can compare the two parties by visiting www.gop.com or www.democrats.org. On some issues the two parties could not be farther apart, but on others it not so much the what, as the how that causes disagreement. Conservative Republicans typically value fiscal accountability, limited government, traditional family values and self responsibility. Why do more Republicans not vote straight ticket? This election is not so much about two personalities as it is about the what and how our elected officials governing philosophy will affect our children's children. Political affiliations matter. Please vote STRAIGHT TICKET REPUBLICAN on November 8. If you want to get involved at the local level contact jeffcogopal@gmail.com.
